The Prog Mill launches 2020 listeners poll

Progzilla Radio weekly show THE PROG MILL has opened voting for the PROG MILL LISTENERS ALBUM OF 2020. The ninth time this has been held by the show, which started in 2011.

Listeners are asked to submit a list of their five favourite progressive rock albums released during 2020, with their number 1 being awarded 5 points, down to 1 for their 5th choice. The votes will be counted up after the closing date of Midnight UK time on 31 December, and will be broadcast in a special results show at 10pm UK on Sunday 3rd January here on Progzilla Radio.

Presenter Shaun Geraghty said – “it will be interesting to see which album comes out top after a fantastic year of prog albums. 2020 has been a pretty rubbish year for obvious reasons but the music has been superb”

* Nominated albums should be progressive rock (or come under the general umbrella of prog) and have been released during 2020
* A minumum of 3 (but preferably 5) albums should be nominated for the votes to stand.
* Votes should be received by midnight UK time Thursday 31 December 2020.

You can email your votes to shaun@progzilla.com – or private message via facebook.com/theprogmill or twitter @shaunontheair

Last year’s poll saw the Kaprekar’s Constant album Depth of Field finishing top. The second time the band had won the award.
