This week on Prog-Watch my special guest is Robert Berry of 3 and 3.2! Robert talks candidly about the formation of the original 3 (with Keith Emerson and Carl Palmer) in the late 1980s, how he and Emerson came to resurrect the idea of the band, and the ordeal he faced in finishing the album following Emerson’s tragic death in 2016. Along the way, there will be plenty of great music…from the original 3, a few from Robert’s solo career, and of course a few from the new 3.2 album “The Rules Have Changed”!

On next week’s Prog-Watch my special guest is Robert Berry of 3 and 3.2! Robert talks candidly about the formation of the original 3 (with Keith Emerson and Carl Palmer) in the late 1980s, how he and Emerson came to resurrect the idea of the band, and the ordeal he faced in finishing the album following Emerson’s tragic death in 2016. Starts this Sunday on Progzilla Radio!

Things are a little ‘off’ this week: I’ll be playing lots of new music this week, but there will be no theme.

No theme!

Anyway, I’m pretty sure there’s no theme.

But you might be able to conjure up a theme… if you try hard enough.

Theme or not… be sure to take some time to relax, put on some headphones, and immerse yourself in some quality progressive rock. It may well be the best part of your day.

Because the days are still long: Remember, you can steam/download this, and any of the 113 previous editions of The Progressive Tracks Show broadcast on Progzilla Radio, any time you want at: http://www.progzilla.com/?s=progressive+tracks.

This week’s program is a variety show with lots of great new stuff from 3.2, The Sea Within, EvenFlow, Drifting Sun, and Strangefish! We’ll also hear great (but not quite new) music from Agam, Heresy, Black Peaks, and The Bedlam Furnaces, and our resident reviewer Dr. Rob Fisher will check in with a Progressive Discoveries feature on the latest album by the Italian band Victim Of Illusion! I hope you can come along for the ride!

Progressive Tracks Show #272 (Theme?  Who Said Anything About A Theme?), originally broadcast on Saturday, July 28, 2018, is now available to download or listen to anytime you desire.

In most weeks, The Progressive Tracks Show plays music around a specific theme.  That may also be the case this week… I’m just not going to admit to it.  ;o)

Oh well, at least the music is always excellent.

So take time to relax, put on some headphones, and immerse yourself in some quality progressive rock.  It may well be the best part of your day.

Remember, you can access any previous Progressive Tracks Show at: http://www.progzilla.com/?s=progressive+tracks (there are well over 100 now!).
