Abel Ganz top Prog Mill listeners poll for 2020

Scottish progressive rock band ABEL GANZ have topped the annual Prog Mill Listeners Album of the Year poll for 2020 with their superb album ‘The Life of the Honeybee and Other Moments of Clarity’.

The show’s listeners were asked during December to submit their top 5 albums of the year lists, with each number 1 receiving 5 points, number 2 getting 4pts etc..

Show presenter Shaun Geraghty said “It became a two horse race between Abel Ganz and Pendragon (who came second with their album ‘Love Over Fear’), it was neck and neck for much of December with Abel Ganz pulling away in the last few days”. These two albums both received more than twice as many votes as any other album. This is the ninth Prog Mill listeners Album of the year, with Kaprekars Constant taking the title last year with ‘Depth of Field’.

This year, 117 listeners voted, nominating 109 albums.
